Vintage, 9ct Gold, Engraved Double Paper Chain Bracelet with Chased Heart Padlock. Hallmarked 9ct Gold, Birmingham, 1966 (12g)

This is an extremely beautiful, and rather unusual Vintage 9ct yellow gold paper chain link bracelet with an exquisitly decorated heart padlock.

It is fully hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Birmingham, and the year 1966,  and its padlock is beautifully engraved with forget-me-not flowers.  Each link beautifully chased with foliate engravings.  I love the double links - it gives the impression of strength, and produces a lovely rolling movement on the wrist.  

With a weight of 12g and being 6 inches long, this bracelet is good size for the average wrist. However, the padlock clasp, which measures 1.4cm x 1.4cm could attach to a different link, making it an even smaller size, if ncessary.  
 
This unique and beautiful bracelet remains in excellent antique condition with only age-related wear, at the as would be expected with a bracelet of this age.
