Vintage, 9ct Gold, Amethyst and Seed Pearl Cluster Pendant

This is a magnificent pendant.  Crafted in 9ct gold it features a shimmering amethyst of approximately 6ct, surrounded by 18 lustrous and well matched seed pearls.   

This stunning piece of history, dates to the 1950s and measures 1.5cm x 1.6cm. (The amethyst alone measures 1cm x 1.3cm) It weighs 2.50g

Amethysts have been viewed through the ages as a stone of peace.  Some believe the calming presence of the stone produces soothing dreams. Amethysts have also been thought to have protective, healing, and purifying powers.

This fabulous and regal pendant is in excellent condition and is ready to wear on a gold chain.  

NB: Great care should always be taken with antique and vintage jewellery and seed pearls in particular should not be worn while exercising, sleeping or showering.  They should not come into contact with water, oils and creams.
