Vintage, 9ct Gold, Almandine Garnet Eyed Extendable Snake Bangle, Hallmarked 9ct Gold, Birmingham, 1968. 22.67g.

This fabulous almandine garnet eyed snake bangle was such a vintage find! It features a coiled snake, extendable on a steel spring, with wonderful gemstone eyes. Its face and tail touch each other as they pass, and both include gorgeous snake skin detail, which adds some lovely texture. On the very top of the serpent's head is a beautifully engraved leaf. The bangle is completely extendable so it is extremely versitile, and can be worn by any size wrist, the middle arm, or the top of the arm.

Weighing a healthy 22.67g, this is a substantial piece of jewellery. It is fully hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Bimringham and the year 1968.

This bangle is in excellent vintage condition. There are no dents or dings and the almandine garnets are are a good colour, lively and well set.
