Vintage, 18ct Gold, Peridot and Diamond Square Ring

This wonderful Vintage ring features a large and vibrant oval cut Peridot,  bordered by 14 twinkling round cut diamonds.  The head of the ring measures 1cm x 1cm giving great finger coverage as well as an incredible all round sparkle.
 
The band is marked for 18ct Gold and the band measures a UK size K 1/2, which is a US size 5 1/2.   It weighs 3.60g.

This is such a fabulous vintage style which would work equally well as a timeless engagement ring as it would a statement ring to be worn on that special occasion.

As well as being the birthstone for August, Peridot has long been thought to represent renewal and growth.  Many moons ago, it was  also used to protect against negative energy and to ward off fear and jealousy!
