This is a really spectacular vintage sweetheart ring. Set into a silver face, the heart shaped gallery features a central blood-red garnet surrounded by 20 lively rose cut diamonds. 

This super ring is set on a strong 18ct gold band, which is currently a UK size O (US size 7 1/2), it weighs 3.39g and could be re-sized within reason. 

There are no hallmarks on the inside of the band, but i would date it to the late 1930s.
