This stunning, and rather unusual vintage lucky ladybird charm is crafted from 14ct Gold.   It features a red and black enamelled lady bug/lady bird, which represents luck and fortune for the wearer. 

This charm measures 1cm x 1.8cm and weighs under a gram. It's in superb and perfect condition with all the enamel intact.  Its marked for 14ct Gold and its makers mark, H & S, and I would suspect it dates from the 1950s.
