Hallmarked for Sterling Silver, Birmingham and the jeweller, Vaughton & Sons, this lovely brooch dates to between 1908 and 1937 and is full of sentimentality and meaning.

The shield shape symbolises the desire to proteect, and the pretty pink flowers, femininity, love and gratitude.  The word, 'wisdom' across the middle suggests that this brooch was given to a lady who was considered wise.

This stunning brooch/pin weighs 9.14g and measures 3.3cm across and 3.1cm down.
