Victorian, Peridot, Tourmaline and Garnet Ring

This stunning, and rather unusual Victorian ring features a strong 15ct gold band with a beautifully designed gallery in a floral style.  It comprises three bright green peridots, bordered by 6 deep green tourmalines.  An almandine garnet sits on each shoulder, with greek script engraving on each shoulder. 

The ring is currently a UK J 1/2, which is a US 5 1/4 and it weighs 1.90g.   No hallmarks remain  - they were likely rubbed at some point in this ring's life - probably at the time of a sizing, of which there is evidence at the back of the ring.
