Victorian, Antique, Solid Silver Ivy Leaf Decorated Bangle, Hallmarked, Birmingham, 1885

This is a stunning and very wearable Solild Silver Antique, Victorian Bangle.

Crafted from Solid Silver, this hinged cuff bangle features a wonderful ivy leaf decorative display on its front. This is Victorian romantic symbolism at its best; Ivy leaves meaning 'cling to thee', and representing forever love.

This bangle will fit a 6 - 6.5 inch wrist, and is approximately 2.6 cm wide all the way round. It has a firm clasp which clicks shut securely. It also comes with its original safety chain, and weighs a very healthy 28.65g. Despite its age of over 130 years, this piece of history remains in wonderful condition.

This incredible bangle is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, Solid Silver and the date 1885, making it Victorian. It also bears the maker's initials, W.N which could have been William Neale who operated in the Chester and Birmingham areas in this era.
