Victorian, Antique, Solid Silver and 9ct Gold, Floral Bangle, Hallmarked, Birmingham, 1883

This is a stunning and rather unique Solild Silver and 9ct Gold, Antique Bangle.

Crafted from Solid Silver and featuring a wonderful floral display, which includes ivy leaves (Vicitorian romantic symbolism at its best and meaning 'cling to thee'),  it features the wonderful additions of 9ct yellow and rose gold over some of the leaves, creating a unique colouring and texture on the face of the bracelet

This hinged cuff bracelet, which measures approximately 6 inches, and approximately 2 cm wide, has a firm clasp which clicks shut securely. It weighs a very healthy 30.04g

This is a really fabulous piece of history would make a great statement on it's own or as part of a wrist stack! It remains in excellent condition, with, despite its 139 years, only light signs of use

This incredible bangle is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, Solid silver and the date 1883.  It also bears the maker's initials, M.B, which could have been Mitchell Bosley & Co, who operated in the Birmingham area during Victorian times.
