This superb brooch is one of a kind!  Crafted in silver (marked 'Sterling') and encrusted with large, sparkling paste stones, this piece is substantial! 
Weighing 30.55g, and measuring 7cm x 3.5cm,  it features a diamond (paste) body with emerald (paste) stones in a double row along its back. 
Crocodile jewelry usually represented endurance and regeneration as well as giing a nod to exoticism and reflecting imperial reach.
