Vintage, Amethyst and Citrine, 15ct Gold Pansy ('Think of me') Necklace

This incredibly pretty Pansy flower necklace comprises amethyst and citrine 'petals' surrounding gold trefoil detail at its centre, all on a 15ct gold frame.  It hangs beautifully from a 9ct gold chain.

The Pansy got its name from the French word, Pensée, for 'thought'. So when pansies are seen on jewellery, they often symbolise that the wearer or giver of the item is thinking/remembering a loved one. Its a beautifully romantic sentiment, perfect for a locket, in which photos or a memento can be kept.

This wonderful sweetheart necklace measures 16 inches long, and the flower, 13.5cm x 2.5cm. It weighs 8.29g.
