Victorian 9ct Gold, Double Green Tourmaline Heart Ring with Seed Pearl Bow

This is a simply stunning antique, Victorian pendant.  Converted very sympathetically from the brooch that it once was, this fabulous pendant is crafted in 9ct Gold.  It features  2 heart shaped deep green tourmalines, which are bordered by tiny seed pearls, topped by a pretty seed pearl bow.

In Victorian times,  jewellery was created with huge amounts of romantic symbolism.  Entwined hearts, for example, symbolised the joining of two lovers and the bow represents a loving bond, such as marriage.  

This wonderful pendant is marked for 9ct Gold on its reverse.  Its measures 2cm wide and 1.8cm long and it weighs 2.49g.
