Victorian, 22ct Gold, Etruscan Revival Turquoise Locket backed Pendant

This is a stunningly beautiful, and quite special pendant/locket. Crafted in a buttery, 22ct Gold, it features a swirling decoration in the form of graduating ovals of turquoise stones, surrounded by bright 22 gold borders between each layer. Fabulous and detailed mariner style godl links border the locket giving this peice a truly regal look.

This marvellous piece has the added extra of a superb locket at its rear. It is currently filled with beautifully displayed hair work, but this could be removed and your own momento displayed.

Measuring 3.5m x 2.5cmm and weighing 12.19g, this is a truly unique peice of jewellery. It is not hallmarked, but has been machine tested for 22ct Gold, and given its design, it would date it to the Etruscan Revival era, during the late 1800s.
