Art Deco, 18ct Gold Ruby and Old Cut Diamond Gypsy Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold Birmingham, 1924

Crafted in buttery 18ct gold, this beautifully decorated gypsy ring features an old cut diamond at the centre of the ring in a starburst setting.  

Clearly hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham and the year 1924, this Art Deco ring has a solid band which provides good finger coverage. It would also be a wonderful engagement ring, (its gem settings mean it is safe to wear daily)  

This ring is currently a UK size M 1/2, which is a US size 6 1/2, and it weighs 6.97g.  It remains in excellent condition, given its 100 + year history, with only minimal signs of wear on the inside of the band at the back.
