This is such a sweet necklace with wonderful romantic connotation.  Featuring a peace dove in flight, on its way to deliver a (love?) letter, all crafted in a lovely 9ct yellow gold. 

There are stunning intricate details on the bird;  the feathers on the bird's body, the wings, and of course the ruby eye.  The envelope is also beautifully engraved. 

This romantic vintage necklace comes on a foxtail chain which has a secure barrel clasp.  The whole necklace weighs 3.75g and the chain is 16 inches in length.
