Victorian 18ct Gold, Ruby and Sapphire Double Heart Ring with Diamond Crown

This stunningly beautiful antique sweetheart ring is crafted in 18ct Gold and features a deep blue sapphire and a pinky red ruby in pear shaped bezel settings on a silver face.  The hearts are bordered by lively old cut diamonds which lead out onto a 18ct solid gold band.  

The hearts are topped with a beautiful diamond bow, topping off the romantic sentiment that this ring exudes.  

Romantic symbolism was prevalent in antique jewelry and the two hearts represent the love and affection shared between one another, while the bow on top signifies the bond (such as marriage) that ties them together.

Measuring a UK size O, and a US size 7, the ring weighs 3.11g.  The ring's face measures 1.5cm and it remains in excellent antique condition with only minimal wear viewed through a loupe.
