Unusual, Victorian 15ct Gold Opening Locket / Pendant with Forget Me Not Flowers

This beautiful Victorian locket features wonderfully detailed engravings which include little forget-me-not flowers an leaves on both sides. It opens via a clasp at the side to reveal an oval locket compartment which comes right out of the gold sleeve. It then rolls back into its sleeve and can be closed securely. Please see pictures.

Incredible engraving is present on the sides of the locket too - in fact there is no part of this locket that is not rich in design and detail. 

There are no hallmarks but the locket has been machine tested for 15ct gold. That said, i believe it is 'Front and Back' To be more specific; this means that the front and back are curated in 15ct gold but there is a metal frame on the inside keeping the actual locket strong.

This special antique locket still has its original frames and covers so is ready to hold your own photos. It measures 1.5cm x 2cm and it weighs 3.77g. It remains in extremely good condition, with only some signs of wear, as would be expected given its 100+ years history, and looks wonderful hanging from a chain around the neck.
