Victorian, 15ct Gold Almandine Garnet and Emerald Ring, Hallmarked 15ct Gold, Birmingham 1899

This very pretty almandine garnet and emerald ring is crafted from 15ct Gold. It features 5 oval Almandine garnets (three set vertically, and two horizontally on the shoulders) and 8 small emeralds, all claw set and beautifully displayed in a symmetrical linear design.  The stunning purply/pink garnets are cut in a way that allows them to catch the light beautifully as the ring moves. 

The band is crafted from 15ct gold and includes wonderful detail on the shoulders, and ornate hand chasing to the entirity of the shank.   This type of quintessential detail representive of the Victorian age is what makes antique rings like this one so unique and special.

The band is a UK size L 1/2 or US size 6 1/4 and it weighs 2.11g.
