Rare, Antique, Victorian 15ct Gold Curb Link Bracelet with Heart Padlock (21.65g), Hallmarked 1899

This is an exceptionally beautiful Victorian curb bracelet with a good sized, solid heart padlock, fully hallmarked for 15ct Gold, Birmingham and the year 1899. It is so rare to find one of these in 15ct gold nowadays -so this was an exciting find!

This classical curb bracelet, which comes with a really wonderful warm patina, features beautifully interlocking curb links, which measure 1cm across and down. The padlock with is the bracelet's original fastener is fully hallmarked for 15ct Gold, Birmingham and the year 1899. It also bears its makers mark: J. S

This bracelet remains in excellent antique condition with only expected age-related wear. The padlock closes securely but it no longer has its safetly chain. A new one could easily be added but i have taken this into consideration when pricing this piece.

Weight: This bracelet has a very healthy weight of 21.65g and it measures approximately 8 inches long.
