Victorian, Engraved, Rolled Gold Bangle, 17.47g

This beautiful bangle is beautifully engraved with a foliate design.  It opens with a hinge and clicks open and closed firmly.  It has the added benefit of a safety chain. 

This lovely bangle is crafted from rolled gold which ensures a great price on a piece of jewellery that is usually extremely expensive.  It is marked, 'double' which is the French term for rolled gold and bears its makers mark; A J. 

A note about Rolled Gold:   The bonding process for rolled gold, which has the same appearance as high carat gold, means it is far more durable than gold plated (which rubs off), and as demonstrated by this watch key, has already lasted well over 150 years! 

This bangle remains in excellent vintage condition.  There are no dents or dings on its body which measures 9mm wide, and it weighs 17.47g.
