Heavy, Antique, 9ct Gold Victorian Fancy Link Longuard Chain, 62 inches, 33.79g

This beautiful and unique antique longuard chain dates to the late 19th Century. Crafted from 9ct gold, it features a stunning tight belcher link separated by fancy rope twist detail all the way around.

The gold is buttery and bright with a really wonderful patina and the links are secure and age related wear is only apparent in a couple of the links, where the fancy rope twist has moved up very slightly, but this can only be seen under very close inspection. 

Solid gold Longuards have been a fashion staple for over a century, and at this long length, they are getting rarer, and are highly sought after. Their versitility means they can be worn alone, wrapped once, twice or even thrice around the neck, or in a stack with longer or shorter chains.

This chain measures 62 inches, and weighs a comfortable 33.79g. It can be wrapped three times around the neck for that dream neck stack in one!  Two small open jump rings can be found on the chain  so that you can attach a pendant or dog clip if you want to.
