This stunning, and rather unusual vintage lucky ladybird slider charm is crafted from 14ct Gold. It features a red and black enamelled lady bug/lady bird, which represents luck and fortune for the wearer. The little ladybird carries within it a sliding panel on its base, which, when revealed says: “Mein Süßer” (My Sweet/ My Darling) 

This charm measures 11mm x 8mm.  It's in superb  condition with all the enamel intact. Its not marked, but has been tested for 14ct Gold and I would suspect it dates from the 1950s.
