Silver Gilt Austro Hungarian Emerald/Garnet/Pearl Drop Earrings

This incredible pair of earrings are Austro-Hungarian in origin, dating to around 1910.

They feature an incredible bezel set emerald, hanging down the centre of each earring, surrounded by beautifully arranged 'leaves' seperated by intersperced pearls and garnets.

The reverse of the earrings are just as beautiful as the front, with the same level of leaf detail deecorating the earrings, and at their base, a stunning bow, which in jewelry speak, represented marriage. 

The earrings were crafted from silver and 14k gold gilt, and they retain much of their colour, which shimmers in the sunlight.  The hooks are gold filled 14k which were the best match for the earrings. 

The earrings measure 3.5cm from top to bottom and 2cm across.  They weigh 6.63g.
