Art Nouveau, Sapphire and Diamond Ring, Hallmarked, 18ct Gold, Chester, 1900

This is such a pretty antique sapphire and diamond ring.  Set on an 18ct gold band, the unusual gallery features 7 sapphires arranged in a diagonal design across the gallery and sandwiched between two rows of diamonds in their own engraved gold leaves.  The ring has a superb finish and a unique feel. 

The band is marked for 18ct Gold, Chester and the year 1900 and is a UK size N 1/2, which is a US size 7.   It weighs 2.68g.

This wonderful antique ring could be worn alone as a statement peice, but would work just as well with other bands as part of a stack.
