Antique, Victorian Fancy Link Long Guard, 56 inches with a Dog Clip, 27.31g

This is an absolutely wonderful, and hard to come by antique fancy link chain. It is made from 9ct gold, and it measures 56 inches long and 4mm wide. It weighs 27.3g and comes with a dog clip. It is marked for 9ct gold and its makers mark, H A &S.

The links of this chain are fabulous and consist of knots and textured spirals. It remains in excellent condition and of a good 'warm' yellow gold.

Long Guard chains have been a fashion staple for many years, and and at this perfect length, they are highly sought after. Their versitility means they can be worn alone (wrapped twice or thrice around the neck), or in a stack with shorter chains.
