Antique, Victorian, 18ct Gold Turquoise and Diamond Starburst Ring, Hallmarked Birmingham, 1888

This extremely pretty antique ring dates back to the Victorian era.  Fully hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham,  and the year 1888, it features a central diamond in a starburst setting, surrounded by 6 bright turquoise stones.  The gallery is beautifully decorated with scalloped shoulders and milegrain detailing on both sides.  The central diamond is bright and clean and sits within its starburst setting, providing a lively sparkle.

This ring is currently a UK size M 1/2, which is a US size 6 1/2.  It could be re-sized slightly.   It weighs in at 2.8g and its central oval face measures 9mm x 6mm.

This ring is a beautiful example of Victorian craftmanship in a one of a kind design.
