15ct Gold, Chrysoberyl and Rubelite Antique Ring

This is a truly stunning antique ring from the Victorian era.

Hand engraved in 15ct gold, the gallery supports a central oval purply/red rubellite which is surrounded by 8 very lively green and beautifully translucent (rare) chrysoberyl stones. Detailed gold craftmanship surrounds each gem, and beautiful scroll work continues down each shoulder giving the gallery a splendid and ornate look.  The band is no longer hallmarked, but its style and decoration date it to the late Victorian era.

This is a truly exceptional example of Victorian jewellery craftmanship and as is the case with these antique hand made items, you wont find another like it.

This ring is a UK size P 1/4, which is a US size 7 1/2, and it weighs 2.43g.
