Antique Silver and Paste Saint Esprit Dropper Pendant

This rare, and regal pendant is French in origin and dates to the end of the 18th Century.  Crafted in Solid Sterling Silver with the most beautiful old cut paste stones, it is known as a Saint Esprit pendant (which would have originally belonged to a necklace of the same design) and comprises a peace dove carrying an olive branch to represent the holy spirit - 'Saint Esprit' translates into English as as 'Holy Spirit'
  
Each part of this pendant displays the most incredible workmanship, which has stood the test of time and remains in exquisite condition. 

The pendant weighs 12.14g and measures 4.6cm x 3.1cm

Paste was a special type of special cut glass which emulated a variety of gemstones; in this case diamonds.  If you look at the video, you'll see just how the paste stones shimmer and sparkle, making it difficult to tell that they are not diamonds.
