Antique, 18ct Gold, 5 stone Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring, 1888

This is a simply beautiful 18ct gold, 5 stone diamond ring.  It is hallmarked for 18ct gold and is inscribed with the date 1888, suggesting that this ring was made at the end of the Victorian era. 

Comprising 5 bright and very lively old mine cut diamonds (approximately 0.70ct total diamond weight), this ring is durable, robust, and comfortable to wear.  Its a perfect ring to wear everyday wear, making it suitable for  an engagement ring.   

Currently a UK size M (USA Size 6 1/4) it has a solid shank and could be resized up or down within reason.  It weighs a healthy 4.7g
