Antique, 15ct Gold Pearl Crescent Moon Pendant

This beautiful antique Gold Pearl pendant is crafted from 15ct Gold and has been tastefuly converted from a brooch.   It features 23 creamy white seed pearls ascending in size around a crescent moon measuring 2.8cm.

Crescent moons have always carried a lot of symbolism, and in the Victorian age, they were representative of the changing of the seasons in one's life. They were often worn after marriage or after a new addition to the family.

This piece of history remains in wonderful condition with the pearls well matched and well set.  It weighs a generous 3.95g.
