Antique, 15ct Gold Multi Gem Sapphire Harlequin Bracelet, 7 inches

This stunning and rare antique multi-gemstone Harlqeuin bracelet is crafted from 15ct Gold, and features 11 beautiful graduating sapphires. 

This multi gem braclet measures approximately 7 inches long and weighs  16.18g. While it is not hallmarked, it has been tested for 15ct Gold.  The sapphires of royal blue, lemon, dark blue, red, purple, moauve, green, orange, cornflower blue, and pink are set in bezels of differing sizes and shapes.  Cable link is brought together with a concealed clasp to secure the bracelet and it benefits from the added security of a safety chain.

Harlequin jewellery was named after the colourful costumes of comedy actors in the 16th century.  The style was very popular in the Victorian era, which saw rings, brooches, pendants and necklaces created out of a colourful array of gems.
