This stunning, and rather unusual enamel ring is a real show stopper. Sitting a top a 15ct gold engraved band, a wonderful red and black enamelled lady bug/lady bird, represents luck and fortune for the wearer.
Given its age, its no surprise that the enamel right at the back of the ladybird has been rubbed away slightly, to leave a more orangey glow. This does not detract from the beauty of the piece, and can only really be noticed when looking very closely.
This ring, the ladybug of which measures 7.5mm, is currently a UK size N, which is a US size 6 3/4. It weighs 1.4g
