9ct Gold, Art Nouveau Blue Guilloche Enamel Locket/Pendant Necklace (c1905)

This is an incredibly pretty Art Nouveau Enamel Guilloche necklace which dates to the Art Nouvea era (1890 - 1910).   It features a ring of 5 bows (representing marriage)  on a bright turquoise blue guilloche enamel background, with a lustrous pearl at its centre.  The decoration continues with a sweet pearl bringing together the gold chain just above the pendant.

The reverse reveals a good sized round locket, which is  empty and ready to hold a keepsake or photo of your own. 

The enamel locket measures 2.7cm, the chain 16 inches, and and the entire necklace weighs a healthy 8.77g.

Under loupe inspection, there is minimal loss to the enamel and the pearls are well matched and well set.
