This is a really stunning 18ct gold antique, acorn charm. It is in immaculate condition, smooth and with no dinks at all. The Acorn's shell is beautifully textured and it comes with a wide bail which fits over a chunky chain, like the one pictured. it measures 1.7cm x 1cm and weighs 2.2g
It is not hallmarked, and I would say it is likely vintage, from the 1940s.
Acorns have been symbolic since the Victorian era, when they were believed to bestow good luck, prosperity and strength on the wearer.
