Crafted from solid 9ct Gold,  this wonderful Claddah ring features two hands holding a crowned garnet heart.

A Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring deriving from Claddah in County Galway. It is full of sentiment and meaning with its heart representing love, its crown representing loyalty, and the two hands symbolising friendship.   

This ring is currently a UK size M, which is a US size 6 1/2.   It weighs 2.92g of 9ct Gold and is in excellent condition.  It is hallmarked for Sheffield and 9ct Gold and i would date it to the 1970s.
