18ct Gold, Antique, Starburst Solitaire Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold, Birmingham, 1893

This is an absolutely fabulous Victorian, antique gypsy starburst ring.

It has a lovely solid tapered shank of buttery 18ct gold, and the gallery features a lovely, central sparkling claw set diamond, of approx 0.5 points, framed in a starburst setting. The addition of intricate engraving on each shoulder adds to its charm.

This exceptional antique ring, which was created at the end of the Victorian era, remains in excellent condition and is complete with hallmarks, for 18ct gold, Birmingham and the date; 1893.

It is currently a UK size L 1/2 (US size 6) and weighs a healthy 2.8g. The widest point of the ring's face measures approximately 5mm and the thinnest side of the band measures 1.5mm.
