15ct Gold, Vintage, Kidney Bean Lucky Charm, Hallmarked 15ct Gold

This lovely, sleek and smooth lucky kidney bean charm is crafted from solid 15ct Gold. It is marked as such on its bale. It measures approximately 2.1cm x 1cm wide and it weighs 2.24g; substantial for a bean! Although it does not have a date mark, the fact it has been crafted in 15ct Gold means it will have been made before 1932, when 15ct gold was replaced by 14ct Gold.

This wonderful vintage charm looks very pretty on a chain around the neck or attached to a charm bracelet.

As well as being a symbol of luck, Kidney beans have long been thought to represent fertility and new beginnings and were very popular in the late 1800/early 1900s.
