15ct Gold, Antique, Victorian Opal, Almandine Garnet Ring

Crafted in 15ct gold, this mid- Victorian Ring features 6 beautifully matched and fiery opals surrounding 5 deep purple almandine garnets, arranged in a pretty floral design. As was the style in the Victorian era, the detail and decoration continues all the way around the gallery and shank with wonderful engraving covering the band.

This truly fabulous antique ring is no longer hallmarked, probably due to a re-size at some point in its life, but i would date it to between 1860 and 1890. It is currently a UK size N 1/2, which is a US size 7, but it could be re-sized.
