16.5 inch, 9ct Gold Antique Anchor Chain with T bar, Dog Clip, Bolt Ring and Yellow Gold rectangle spacers (17.80g)

This beautiful antique 9ct gold mixed link chain dates from the early 1900s. It has a bolt ring and dog clip clasp closure mechanism and feaures a detachable T bar and additional bale from which to hang pendants or charms.  

The chain is hallmarked for 9ct Gold on its T-bar, its dog clip and final link. Its is 5mm wide and 16.5 inches long and has a slightly warm tone, although i would not say 'rosy'.  The links themselves are very unusual and comprise engraved anchor links, which are intersperced with yellow gold engraved rectangle spacers.  Two two tone gold look on this chain is very cool, and adds an extra dimension to this sought after chain.

The 9ct gold of this chain is buttery and smooth, and it has a gorgeous patina.

Solid gold belcher chains have been a fashion staple for over a century, and at they are highly sought after. Their versitility means they can be worn alone, in a stack with longer or shorter chains, or attached to its dog clip, with a pendant/charm.  The t-bar can also be removed and the chain worn with the bolt and dog clip at the front.
