It features a beautifully chased (hollow) curb chain and an exquisitely engraved heart padlock, which is decorated with forget-me-not flowers on both sides, symbolising much romantic sentiment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn one side of this classical curb bracelet, there are double sets of engraved links, (in the form of forget-me-not flowers) followed by one plain link, all the way round. On the other side, the hollow links are all plain. The Victorians called bracelets decorated like this \"Night \u0026amp; Day” bracelets as they were reversible and could be worn with for night or daywear. The plain side was worn during the day and then it was turned over to its chased side for evening wear. The fashion for these bracelets has continued from Victorian times right through to the 21st Century where they remain a classic and iconic piece for many women today.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis bracelet remains in excellent antique condition.
